Fortinet FCNSA Description:
The Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate (FCNSA) certification from Fortinet Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Enterprise Network environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate (FCNSA) certification.

The Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate certification certifies that a successful Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate has learnt the knowledge need to Install and configure a FortiGate unit in Transparent mode, day-to-day configuration and monitoring of FortiGate devices in support of specific corporate policies and In addition to FortiGate devices Fortinet Certified Network Security Associates also have a good understanding of the entire Fortinet product family of services and hardware. The successful Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate certified student will have knowledge of the Knowledge of Fortinet Product Family, General understanding of FortiGate Feature and Functionality, Familiarity with FortiGate Admin Interface, Configuration of Firewall Policies, Configuration of Virus Scanning & URL Filtering, Understanding of Basic FortiGate Maintenance, General Networking and Security Knowledge. These are all fields in the Enterprise Network environments.

Fortinet FCNSA Prerequisites:
The Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate certification is only available to students who have 6 to 12 months experience day-to-day configuration and monitoring of FortiGate devices in support of specific corporate policies.

Fortinet FCNSA Required Exams:
To be awarded the Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate certification, the Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate student must successfully pass one exam namely; the Fortinet FCNSA-1V0 Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate (FCNSA) exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

Fortinet FCNSA Recertification:
A successful Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate student will hold the Fortinet Certified Network Security Associate certification for indefinitely.
