Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS)

Extreme Networks ENS Description:
The Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) certification from Extreme Networks Certification was established in 2003 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) certification.

The Extreme Networks Specialist certification certifies that a successful Extreme Networks Specialist has learnt the knowledge need to implementing, configuring, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting of Extreme Networks products. The successful Extreme Networks Specialist certified student will have knowledge of Extreme Networks advanced redundancy features, Extreme Networks advanced multicast routing features, Extreme Networks routing switches, Extreme Networks switch security and traffic engineering features, and troubleshoot Extreme Networks switches for layer 2 and layer 3 networking problems. These are all fields in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments.

Extreme Networks ENS Prerequisites:
The Extreme Networks Specialist certification is only available to students who have success fully acquired the Extreme Networks ENA certification.

Extreme Networks ENS Required Exams:
To be awarded the Extreme Networks Specialist certification, the Extreme Networks Specialist student must successfully pass one exam namely; the Extreme Networks EW0-300 Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in various languages.

Extreme Networks ENS Recertification:
A successful Extreme Networks Specialist student will hold the Extreme Networks Specialist certification for two years only, after which the Extreme Networks Specialist student must re-validate their Extreme Networks Specialist certification by retaking and passing the Extreme Networks EW0-300 Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) exam or taking and passing the Extreme Networks Engineer exam.
