Extreme Networks Associate (ENA)

Extreme Networks ENA Description:
The Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) certification from Extreme Networks Certification was established in 2003 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) certification.

The Extreme Networks Associate certification certifies that a successful Extreme Networks Associate has learnt the knowledge need to planning, designing, implementing, and operating Extreme Networks products in a variety of networks. The successful Extreme Networks Associate certified student will have knowledge of the Extreme Networks product portfolio and configuring and managing Extreme Networks switches in layer 2 and layer 3 environments. These are fields in the Service Provider and Enterprise environments.

Extreme Networks ENA Prerequisites:
The Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) certification is an entry level certification for Extreme Networks, however, the Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) is only available to students who attend the ECT-200/5: ExtremeWare Configuration and Troubleshooting course.

Extreme Networks ENA Required Exams:
To be awarded the Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) certification, the Extreme Networks Associate student must successfully pass one exam namely; the Extreme Networks EW0-200 Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) exam. This exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in various languages.

Extreme Networks ENA Recertification:
A successful Extreme Networks Associate student will hold the Extreme Networks Associate certification for two years only, after which the Extreme Networks Associate student must re-validate their Extreme Networks Associate certification by retaking and passing the Extreme Networks Associate (ENA) exam or taking and passing the Extreme Networks Specialist (ENS) exam.
