Foundry FNCNE Description:
The Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer (FNCNE) certification from Foundry Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Enterprise Network environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer (FNCNE) certification.

The Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer certification certifies that a successful Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer has learnt the knowledge need to Install and configure Foundry switches and routers in a small to medium sized network, Implement Foundry's Layers 4 - Layers 7 switching, firewalls and sever load balancing solutions. The successful Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer certified student will have knowledge of the Provide level 1 support and diagnostics, and fault isolation and Install and configure Foundry switches and routers in a small to medium sized network. These are all fields in the Enterprise Network environments.

Foundry FNCNE Prerequisites:
The Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer certification is only available to students who have 6 to 12 months experience fundamental knowledge of networking prior to learning the specifics of Foundry networking.

Foundry FNCNE Required Exams:
To be awarded the Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer certification, the Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer student must successfully pass one exam namely; the Foundry FN0-125-342 Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer (FNCNE) exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

Foundry FNCNE Recertification:
A successful Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer student will hold the Foundry Networks Certified Network Engineer certification for indefinitely.
