Accredited Presales Professional (APP)

HP APP Description:
The Accredited Presales Professional (APP) certification from HP Certification was established in 2001 and is aimed at students who are currently employed in the Enterprise Network environments, or those who want to find employment in those environments, and want to obtain the Accredited Presales Professional (APP) certification.

The Accredited Presales Professional certification certifies that a successful Accredited Presales Professional has learnt the knowledge need to design, support and integrate platform, operating system, storage, network and option components to solve business needs. The successful Accredited Presales Professional certified student will have knowledge of the take a set of customer business requirements, recognize opportunities and make recommendations for a solution (including application, platform, operating system, storage, network and option components) that will solve business needs. These are all fields in the Enterprise Network environments.

HP APP Prerequisites:
The Accredited Presales Professional certification is only available to students who have 6 to 12 months experience design, support and integrate platform, operating system, storage, network and option components to solve business needs.

HP APP Required Exams:
You need to do the HP exam(s) required to earn APP certification. Because there are different tracks in the certification, there can be different exams for the different tracks. For example:

The exam that is required is the APP - HP Enterprise Solutions track is the HP HP2-027 Technical Essentials of HP Enterprise Products exam.

The exam that is required is the APP - HP Enterprise Solutions track is the HP HP0-505 Planning and Designing HP Enterprise Solutions exam.

The exam that is required is the APP - HP Imaging and Printing Solutions track is the HP HP2-448 Digital Workplace Technical Professional v5.4 exam.
This exam is available in English only.

HP APP Recertification:
A successful Accredited Presales Professional student will hold the Accredited Presales Professional certification for indefinitely.
